Today is Sunday, and there are no scheduled workouts today at CrossFit Banshee. Instead of a workout, we ask everyone to focus on getting some rest from an EXTREMELY hectic week and focus on those things that need a little extra time to recover. Recovery here might mean working on a body part that is sore or tight, or it might look like cleaning up a mess that you simply couldn’t deal with at the time. For me often times recovery means getting outside, enjoying the sun and recovering a little bit extra on the mental side. For what it’s worth, this rarely means planting your butt on the couch and watching TV or playing video games most of the day. These activities USUALLY cause a cascade of issues into the following week.
The last part is Prep for the upcoming week. For many in the fitness world this means Meal Prep to ensure that there will quality food options available and reduce the temptation of making last minute terrible decision. This is also a great time to look at the upcoming week and make a plan of attack.

- What days will you need to shop for food or other items and what things are on that list?
